Welcome to Costessey Primary School! Our vision is 'Ambition for All'. We strive to be a school where every individual achieves their personal best, academically and socially in a supportive but challenging environment.

It has been a really busy term for the PTA. We started in September with our Tea and Tissues mornings to welcome parents of our new Reception classes. Everyone took home a little treat to share at the end of their first day at ‘big school’.

In September we held the Autumn Fair. Raffles, games, an assault course and dinosaurs all added to the fun. It was a little chilly – but the sun was out. We included a cake sale in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and an Army Assault course collecting for Anthony Nolan, along with over £500 raised for the school.

The PTA have funded several events for the children to help us all get in the Christmas spirit. These included the Whizz Bang Pop Children’s Entertainers performing their Christmas pantomime ‘Christmas Custard Capers’. This was performed at both the Infant and Junior schools, with everyone – including staff enjoying traditional pantomime fun.

The term’s events finished with a wonderful opportunity to meet Father Christ-mas. He came to both schools with gifts for all. He even ate lunch with pupils at the Juniors.

The PTA are always looking for new members, they would love to hear from you. If you would like to be involved, please get in touch through the school office.
